The history of Bella, one of the largest shipyards in Scandinavia, began with an incredible event in 1970. This year father refused to buy a canoe for bis son- 12 year old Raimo Soninen. But a boy passionately in love into the water element, independently built a boat and safely launched it into the water.

Now Raimo Soninen is the founder and CEO of the Finnish shipyard Bella, and his shipyard is an undoubted leader in the production of fiberglass motor boats in Scandinavia. And even half a century after the construction of the first canoe, in modern Bella boats you can feel youthful passion!

The Bella shipyard builds boats with a length of 5 - 6.5 meters. Hull material - fiberglass, engine - 50 - 150 hp outboard. Boats are designed for short trips, most have an open cockpit, only one of the model range is equipped with a wheelhouse. 

A characteristic feature of the shipyard is the high quality of workmanship for a relatively little money. Bella boats have won the trust of customers not only in Scandinavian countries, but throughout the world: 80% of the shipyard's products are exported to 25 countries. The Bella Group owns four brands: Bella, Flipper, Aquador and Falcon. Boats are building at the factories in Kupio and Larsmo in Finland. Since 2018, the entire brand portfolio has been included in the Swedish Nimbus Group. Now it is the largest manufacturer of pleasure boats, boats and motor yachts in Europe.
